Sosa began his coaching journey when he created a personal trainer club as part of a community service project in high school. He trained his teachers and fellow classmates in both group and 1 on 1 settings. Throughout his university years, he went on to serve as a Fitness trainer for several gyms and rehab centres across Winnipeg, coaching peopled aged 10-70. During his final year in Winnipeg, he competed in the Van Dijk Classic Natural Bodybuilding Competition where he placed 2nd in his class and qualified for nationals in Toronto. His passions led him to becoming a Registered Kinesiologist, which led to a move Ontario.

Over the years, he developed his coaching and teaching skills by learning through hardship and failures when pushing oneself to achieve something that may at first appear unattainable on a physical level.
